„Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine” jest publikowany w Australii od 1993 roku. Przez pierwsze 25 lat istnienia, drukowany tygodnik „Express Wieczorny” był kolportowany we wszystkich stanach Australii. Pod nowym tytułem, w wersji internetowej, magazyn ukazuje się od roku 2015. Od początku istnienia „Express” jest źródłem informacji o Polonii i dla Polonii australijskiej.

  • „Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine” jest publikacją niezależną zorientowaną na czytelników tolerancyjnych o poglądach demokratycznych.
  • Promujemy osiągnięcia Polski – nowoczesnego państwa, członka Unii Europejskiej, z dynamicznie rozwijającą się gospodarką.
  • Piszemy o aktualnych wydarzeniach w Australii, w Polsce i na świecie, a także o sprawach Polonii australijskiej.
  • Na portalu „Expressu” czytelnicy znajdą także praktyczne porady dotyczące zdrowia, zbalansowanej diety i dobrostanu psychicznego.

“Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine” has been published in Australia since 1993. For the first 25 years it was a newspaper printed under the masthead “Express Wieczorny”, moving to online publication in 2015 with a new title “Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine”. In print, and as it continues online today, “Express” is the main source of information about, and for, Polish diaspora in Australia.

  • „Express” is dedicated to readers with democratic views and an open mind.
  • We publish articles about Polish history and customs, essays, poetry, as well as human-interest stories.
  • “Express” promotes Poland as a modern country: an integral part of the European Union, with a fast-growing economy and modern industry.
  • “Express” also works closely with the Polish community in Australia, providing information about local events, schools, activity groups and experiences of Poles living here.

We invite you to share your story
In “Express” we publish stories, essays, and poetry in Polish and English. We welcome contributions to “Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine”.
Copyright for articles published by “Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine” is held by Vide Publishing.
Authors are free to distribute their original, providing that the republished articles include a link to the “Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine” website and are recognised with the following “This article was first published in “Express. The Australian-Polish Magazine”.

Please submit your article via email to express@polishexpress.au, following the guidelines below:

1. please keep your article to about 500-1000 words unless a longer story publication has been consulted with the Editor,

2. please format your articles as follows:

– heading: 6-10 words maximum,
– subheadings: no more than 6 words,
– use single spacing within sentences and single line between paragraphs,
– no footnotes.

3. photos – all images used in your articles must be licensed and author’s name indicated. All people pictured and facing the camera must be named. Picture size should be 1280 x 720 pixels (landscape).

4. editing – please proofread the copy before it’s submitted to ensure it has no spelling errors.

Once submitted your article will be assessed for publication, if your article is approved we’ll contact you.
