Gold Coast-based SLRV Expedition Vehicles has been nominated as retail partner by new off-road vehicle manufacturer INEOS Automotive. The partnership will grant SLRV the license to retail INEOS Automotives’ flagship vehicle; the Grenadier to 4WD enthusiasts across Australia; further contributing to INEOS plans to have a 200-strong sales and after sales network spanning over 50 countries by the end of 2022.
SLRV Director Warwick Boswerger said “the partnership represents a major milestone for the SLRV brand. The addition of the Grenadier to our already high quality, reliable and capable range of off-road vehicles will equip us further in providing yet another option for our growing customer-base”.
Owned by parent company the INEOS Group, the Grenadier is described as a rugged, capable and comfortable goanywhere working vehicle. Practical features include a 70:30 split rear door, integrated roof bars, pre-wiring for auxiliary lamps and accessories, and a front bumper to sit on. An ‘open-source’ approach to accessories means owners can tailor the vehicle to their specific requirements.
A family-owned business; SLRV are no strangers to the 4WD industry and wider community. From the ages of 2, 3 and 4, the Boswerger boys set off to explore remote Australia with parents Bill and Marion in a series 1 short wheelbase Land Rover; a far cry from their expedition vehicles of today. As they say, all things great come from small beginnings. With collective four-wheel-driving experience in the Boswerger family spanning in excess of 200 years, the partnership with INEOS and the adoption of the Grenadier into their existing fleet of off-road vehicles truly is a match made in heaven.
The partnership marks the first time SLRV has aligned itself with a notable consumer 4WD vehicle brand from a retail perspective; “this is an exciting time for our brand and validates our notable years of serving the RV and fourwheel- driving community.
