The Polish Club Ashfield loves the Christmas Season and have planned a variety of different events, activities, and promotions for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
EUROPEAN CHRISTMAS MARKET Sunday 1 December 2024 | 10am – 4pm
The Polish Club Ashfield European Christmas Market is a community-based market that looks to provide and share inspired foods, goods, crafts, services, and entertainment.
Enjoy a day filled with Christmas festivities, live entertainment, delicious food, crafts and other wares. The market will be situated indoors in the Grand Salon of The Polish Club Ashfield on Sunday 1 December 2024 between 10:00am – 4:00pm.
With more than 25 festive stall to peruse including our friends Fragrant Flames, Capella & Co, Hanna’s Hobby, Tiny Town Ceramics, Polish Design Store, and more – you will find a Christmas treat for anyone!
For the foodie, there’ll be pillowy pierogi (dumplings stuffed with white cheese or meat), kielbasa (Polish sausages) and pączki (giant jam filled doughnuts), and lots of European ciasto (cakes) to feast on. For something a bit more substantial, grab a table at the Polish Club’s restaurant Sto Lat for pork knuckles, schnitzels and potato pancakes. Or pop by Polka Cafe & Deli to pick up a selection of European chocolate, fruit flavoured vodkas, small goods, and other tasty condiments.
DINNER AT STO LAT ON MARKET DAY Pair this market visit with a lunch (12:00pm – 3:00pm) or dinner (5:00pm – 9:00pm) reservation at Sto Lat Restaurant. Bookings highly recommended to avoid wait time on the day.
MIKOŁAJKI (ST NICHOLAS) PHOTOS Friday 6 December 2024
December 6th marks a very special day for many European Children – Mikołajki also known as St Nicholas’ Day – a day filled with wonder and joy when the main man himself St. Nick visits all the children that have been good through the year. This year he is gifting us his presence by making the extra special trip to the Polish Club/ Klub Polski Ashfield. Mikołaj will be dressed in his finest traditional Polish Christmas robes and seated in a European Christmas Wonderland.
The Polish Club Ashfield will be extending an open invitation to children and their families to get a few happy snaps.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS Sunday 1, 8, 15, 22 December 2024
In Poland it is customary to gather and celebrate the Christmas season with the uplifting singing of Polskie Kolędy (also known as Christmas Carols in Polish). The Polish Club/ Klub Polski Ashfield’s Polskie Kolędy is a free concert held each Sunday during December. The concert will be led by guest singers and musicians from the community, who will sing several traditional Polish Christmas carols inviting the audience to join in.

WIGILIA LUNCH & DINNER Tuesday 24 December 2024
