Six Australian universities made the top 100 best global research institutions in the 2016 @AcademicRankingofWorldUniversities.

Monash University and University of Sydney were the newcomers to the top 100 club – joining The University of Melbourne, The University of Queensland, The University of Western Australia and The Australian National University.
