Spare time on the commute home? Take a sneak preview of the new Wynyard Station

Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Andrew Constance invited customers to take a trip to the new Wynyard Station, thanks to an innovative app that offers an inside view of the yet to be completed station upgrade.
 
The NovoView app, developed by Novo Rail, enables customers to experience 360-degree views of what the station will look like when it’s finished – like they are there in person.
 
“This new app, available to download now, will give our customers a taste of the lighter, brighter and cleaner Wynyard Station that will be completed later this year, ” Mr Constance said.
 
“It’s a fantastic piece of technology and offers customers a unique insight into one of our major station upgrades.”
 
The virtual reality technology allows users to select from three panoramas of the completed station, with the option to explore other project information such as a construction photo gallery.
 
The $100 million Wynyard Station upgrade will create a new gateway to Sydney’s financial district and western CBD, with increased capacity for the future.
 
NovoView is free to download on Apple or Android devices – simply search NovoView in the App store or Google Play.
 
The Wynyard Station upgrade, due to open to customers in mid-2016, is just one of a number of projects the NSW Government is delivering to improve public transport access in the Sydney CBD.
 
Wynyard Walk pedestrian link and the new Barangaroo Ferry Hub will also open to customers later this year.
