TAFE OPENING DOORS
TO THE FUTURE NEXT WEEK
People across the State are being encouraged to visit their local TAFE NSW campus next week for TAFE’s 2018 enrolment week, to explore the range of exciting options on offer this year.
The Minister responsible for TAFE NSW Adam Marshall said enrolment week was the perfect opportunity for people to learn more about how studying at TAFE NSW can equip them with the skills they need to secure a job.
“Enrolment week helps students and potential students learn how TAFE NSW can equip them with the practical, hands on training they need to secure a job in demand from industry,” Mr Marshall said.
“Studying at TAFE NSW is an excellent option for people considering their post-school options, a career change or wishing to gain new skills to secure a promotion.
“TAFE NSW offers more than 1,200 courses and this year is rolling out exciting new options in areas such as cyber-security, anti-money laundering and drone technology, which will help students secure the jobs of the future and meet the evolving needs of business and industry.
“The NSW Government provides significant subsidies for a range of courses at TAFE NSW through Smart and Skilled, ensuring students can undertake the studies they need to upskill or find a new job.
“I encourage all members of the community to go along to their local TAFE NSW campus during enrolment week to take a look at the exciting vocational education and training options available to them.”
TAFE’s enrolment week will take place from 15-20 January 2018.
